The latest map to be featured on our site is de_alcatraz.  Im sure that those of you whom enjoyed de_rock will like this map as well.  Although not quite as large in size as de_rock, this map sports some of the sweetest graphics of any CS 1.6 map to date.  From the intricate lighting effects, to the cleverly constructed props, this map definitely makes this old game look a bit more modern.

I dont anticipate this map to be as good on game-play as some of the more open makes that we have recently played such as de_tuscan, but nonetheless this is a really cool looking map and it should be a ton of fun to play.  After all, the whole point to the featured map on our site is to showcase high quality custom maps to our community.  These featured maps are unique, detailed, and large in file size therefore they should be downloaded ahead of time before entering our server.  This map is over 13 Megs compressed!  Lets get as many folks to download this one ahead of time rather then waiting for it to load in-game.

We will run this map for the first time on our server Wednesday night, October 22nd sometime between 9 and 10 Pm Eastern Standard Time.  Come by and check it out if you are around.

Now that we have this awesome new site, we can communicate once again. We need feedback on what nights to dedicate to what game. Having dedicated game nights will allow us to all gather and get a good game going. No more wondering who or if anyone will show up. If we can get this going steady for a few weeks, our number of players should grow and hopefully fill our servers back up again. Reply to which nights you want to play CS and which nights we want to dedicate to BF2. Let's start having some fun again.

Welcome to the new domain of [nFb]

Previously we operated under the domain name www.clannfb.com and recently we decided to change our domain name for the simple reason that we did not want to be confused as a Gaming Clan. We have no desire to compete in leagues or clan matches therefore we are not a Gaming Clan in the traditional sense. Instead, we are an online gaming community consisting of friends, family, and fellow gamers who play Video Games for what they were originally intended for - FUN!

Have a look around and enjoy the new site. Some updates are still under way so please be patient while we work on the final phases of the site. Please be sure to register a new account on our forums. Make sure that you register your new account on our forums with a valid email address otherwise your account will not be approved.

There is a featured CS 1.6 Custom Map link on our site.  The purpose of this is to continually add to our already great collection of quality custom maps that are already on our server.  CS 1.6 is going on its ninth year and in order to keep this game relatively fresh it is imperative that we add new maps to our server.  Hosting new custom maps and getting together several times a week as a group will ensure a great gaming experience amongst our community.

It takes a minimum of 6 players to start a live game of Battlefield 2. Going from here forward we are going to set aside a couple of nights a week for as many of us to get together for a game of BF2 on our server.  Hosting different modes of game play on set days will be in order.  There will be an Air Night (Air Maps Only), Infantry Only Night, and a Special Forces Only Night.  Once we come up with a set schedule it should be relatively easy to get a good game going.

Various Staff Member positions are available.  What we are looking for are some folks who want to be involved in site development, forum moderation, administration and news posting.  Please keep in mind that all positions are strictly voluntary and we do not offer any sort of retirement plan.  Rest assured though, this is your chance to get involved in what goes on in your gaming community and you will finally have the chance to make a difference !
